Dictionary of Art Historians Compiled by the Department of Art, Art History and Visual Studies, Duke University and edited by Lee Sorensen. The Dictionary of Art Historians is a free, privately funded project which originated in 1986. It currently contains biographies of over 1,000 historic scholars, museum professionals and academic historians of art.
